We had a lot of fun celebrating our anniversary last week!
This year we did a progressive dinner date, and went to our favorite restaurants and ate our favorite foods. People in my high school did something like this for prom night. A pretty fun way to spend the evening together.
We started at Sanfords Grub & Pup.
for drinks
& appetizers (artichoke dip with bread)
Then to Texas road house for buns & cinnamon butter!
We did order an actual meal here, but got so full that we took 90% of the meal home for lunch the next day. I got steak & he got ribs.
We were so full that we walked the fall to help digest a bit.
Then to the movies for dessert! Peanut M&Ms. Yum!
We went to see the Mockingjay. Pretty good movie. Kinda slow. Don't see why they had to split the last book into multiple movies. But they didn't ask me, did they? We were two of five people in the theater on a Tuesday night. Lol.
The leather-themed gifts we bought for each other online had not arrived yet, so we gave gifts another day. But overall had a fabulous day!
