Sharing Our Story : Kam's Hometown

Taken while we were sharing our "Story" at orientation in Tennessee in July
Last weekend, we were able to share about our Zimbabwe mission at my home church.

I grew up with Pastor Gary at the pulpit at Kadoka Presbyterian Church as long as I can remember. Gary teaches at three rural churches in the prairies of Western South Dakota each Sunday, and he was gracious enough to let us tag along and share with the congregations what God's doing in Karanda and the roles we'll be playing in that ministry.

Although these churches were small in numbers, they were HUGE in encouragement and have a heart for missions like none other. We came away from that Sunday completely blessed. Many financial and prayer commitments were made, so we want to extend a big thank-you to Pastor Gary, and the people at Okaton, Belvidere, and Kadoka Churches.

The Lord is quickly blessing us with financial partners. After just a few weeks of active fundraising, we have 21% of our funds pledged. Praise God!
