What's Cooking: Tater-Tot Casserole

Here's a favorite recipe from school lunches back in the day: Tater-Tot Casserole. So easy. So good. Sure to please almost anybody.
What you need:
  • 9x13 baking pan
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 cups green beans (frozen, canned, fresh, you name it)
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • spices (like garlic powder & onion salt) to taste
  • Preheat oven to 425
  • brown hamburger
  • saute chopped onion in with hamburger; drain
  • In baking pan, layer hamburger (bottom), then green beans, smooth cream of mushroom soup over those layers, and finally cover with tater-tots on top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until tots are cooked through.
  • Enjoy!
