Our wedding was very "DIY" and "on a budget." We were two college kids who didn't have much savings and who were too proud to accept money from our parents. I think this added a very unique feel to our wedding. The focus was not on the fancy, or the traditional, but on celebrating our love.
I am going to do a series of posts about our wedding. Mostly this is for my sake, so I can have another place where the event and the process is documented. But if anyone feels inspired by any ideas they find, I am glad to have helped. Please let me know if you have used any of my ideas in your own wedding.

I did my wedding on a budget as well! I think it is wise to spend less on one day and save more for adventures!! but at the same time it is important to make your wedding you and enjoy it!
