Crow Peak is found near Spearfish, SD & is a must-hike trail in the Black Hills!
Elevation: 5760 ft.Distance: 3.5 miles to the top (& back down = 7 miles total).
A couple weeks ago, Kameron & I spent the weekend in Spearfish with our friends Trenton & Kathleen. These friends used to live in our stairwell in the apartment we lived in before moving in with my sister. Around the same time we moved out, they bought a house & moved to Spearfish. We were happy when they invited us to spend some time with them. We took full advantage of their delicious cooking skills, went on a few little hikes, rode bikes around town, ate ice cream & other various desserts, visited the fish at the fish hatchery, sampled some brew at the Crow Peak brewery and hiked the peak that the brewery was named after.
As you can see, our go-to hiking snack on this hike was Cliff Bars. (& no, I was not paid for product placement...) What food do you usually take on your hikes? Leave your answers in the comments below.
