Liebster Award - Laura's Questions Answered

Remember when I was given a Liebster Award by my blogger friend Laura? Part of the requirements for accepting this little award are answering 11 questions given by the nominator of the award. So without further ado: 

Laura's Questions for me:

1. If you could change your name, what would  it be?
Growing up, I would have changed my name to "Stacey" in a heart beat. Now I am not sure. Maybe I would go by some form of Elizabeth (my middle name). I like Eliza or Elise or Betsy. 

2. List three words you really enjoy.
Upcycle.
Blogosphere.
Cuddle.

3. What is your favorite outfit?
Hmm... Good question. As a nurse, I am rarely out of my scrubs. But when I do get to wear regular people clothes, I like to wear a scarf, a solid t-shirt, a cardigan, colored skinny jeans, and my "dirty thirties" (the name Kam gave my thrifted shoes). 

4. What is the last thing you pinned on Pinterest?
This pretty crocheted chevron blanket. I have learned how to crochet the zig-zag pattern for a baby blanket I am making, but my stripes are so close together. This pin inspires me to make larger stripes for my next project!

5. What is one food you could not live without?
Spaghetti. Hands down. The two of us make this meal like every week... and there are always left overs. I probably have sauce stains on all of my clothes. Woops!

6. What music have you been playing on repeat lately (I'm in need of some new tunes)?The Rend Collective Experiment. 
Laura, I think you are really going to like these guys. I am listening to their selections on Spotify on repeat, I need to have my brother hook me up with his album. Such lovely acoustic Christian music.  

7. What makes you happy on a bad day?
Knowing that God is in control. Even if I am making a mess of everything & nothing is going my way. There is a Planner out there who has everything in His hands. 

8. What is your favorite ice breaker question (and answer it)?
"Read any good books lately?" 
I have recently read The Kitchen House, which was really good. Currently I am reading One Thousand Gifts. I was  inspired by this e-book-club. Check it out.

9. What is one thing that makes you who you are?
Thinking. I am always thinking. About everything. I make lists in my head of projects to makes. I think about what I could have said differently in conversations. I think about God. I think about what makes the hubs so great. I think about adventures to take. I think about the past, the present, and the future. All at the same time. and it drives Kam crazy.

10. Coffee or tea?
Most days I will choose tea. Yum! My favorite is plain black breakfast tea with milk & sugar. I am also loving Good Earth Tea, the original blend.

11. What is one letter of the alphabet that describes you best?
Geez Laura, save the hard one for last. Umm. Currently: W. It stands for wife, worker, worrier, and woman. Four things that have been common themes in my mind lately.
