50 Recipes: Steamed Brussels Sprouts


Growing up we never really had brussels, so I never had the chance to refuse to eat them. Now that I am all grown-up, I have had them three times this year. Why would anyone refuse to each this delicious green, leafy, vegetable?

  • Wash the sprouts & chop off the ends
  • add to a steamer in a sauce pan
  • add a cup of water & a few dashes of salt
  • boil/steam
  • &enjoy!
Super simple, right?

You could also steam them in the microwave using a microwavable dish, a few tablespoons of water & salt, and letting it cook for about 10ish minutes.
