Wedding: The Invitation

Have we said that our wedding was a little unconventional?

Well here is some more proof. What you are looking at is our wedding invitation. No... not the Save the Date... but the actual invitation. A post card. Very unconventional. Does not follow the wedding invitation etiquette rules in the slightest. Hmmm. Oh well. I like them.

And our guests still showed up!

and besides my brother mentioning he never got our invitation (thinking that this was the save the date), we never heard anything bad concerning the invitations.

My dear friend, roommate, bridesmaid, and bestie, Sarah (she was the red-head standing on my side), made them for us. She was amazing! She made so many samples. Then we picked a few of our favorites. She perfected those. We picked our favorite. She perfected it more. & more. & more. The we finally gave her a break and there you have it. =).

Sarah has designed other wedding invitations as well (ones that fit the rules of etiquette). She has also designed t-shirts, brochures, and much much more. She is awesome. Contact me if you would like her info.

P.S. That phone number on the invite is not even mine anymore. So it is not even worth calling. You'll have to find some other way to creep on me. =) Feel free to email us. We like mail. =)

    1. No, I go to an E-Free church. This was basically the only church that let us get married there without 1) being members 2)making us use their pastor to officiate 3)allow some secular music... We got married in our college town, so we had to take what we could get. It was a beautiful church, & I did attend some services. =)
